From Saturday until early this morning, search and rescue teams in Seksyen 25 Taman Sri Muda, Selangor’s worst-affected neighborhood, found nine dead.
Six deaths were discovered in multiple residences, comprising five women and a man, according to Selangor Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) director Norazam Khamis, while three additional victims were retrieved near Taman Sri Muda when flood waters receded.
The report states that the first victim, a guy, was discovered at 6 p.m. on Saturday, followed by two more male victims at noon and 2 p.m. the next day, and five were discovered yesterday between midday and 8.35 p.m., including four women and a man.
