KUALA LUMPUR- The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said in a report today that one patient, the 87th case, has recovered and already discharged from the hospital.
It also said that, “To date, 25 people have fully recovered and have been discharged,”
While there are new twelve cases confirmed, making it a total of 129 in the country.
According to the PMO, positive cases included patients under investigation (PUI) for Covid-19 infection, those in close contact with other cases, and those involved in humanitarian missions.
The PMO said Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin visited today and was given a briefing on the Covid-19 situation at the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC).
Reports said that the government will continue to exert efforts to face the outbreak, including deploying more resources and turning Hospital Sungai Buloh into a facility for Covid-19 treatment. The PMO consistently advises the public to practise high levels of hygiene. This includes washing hands more frequently with water and soap, using hand sanitisers, and also seeking immediate medical treatments for symptoms of respiratory tract infections, such as fever, cough or difficulty in breathing as these are the common symptoms of covid19.
