Hishammuddin thanks UAE for medical equipment support

KUALA LUMPUR – Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein thanked the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for supplying the country with medical equipments.

Hishammuddin posted in his official Facebook page that aside from the medical assistance provided, UAE and Malaysia will continue to collaborate and share information and strategies to combat Covid-19.

“The sharing of information includes video conferences involving the Wisma Putera Covid-19 task force with UAE government officials.”

The foreign ministry is optimistic that both country will benefit on this bilateral cooperation in managing the crisis brought by coronavirus. Malaysia currently has a total of 2,626 cases in the country with 37 deaths.
