Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed meets with US National Security Advisor

UAEUAE – H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met with Jake Sullivan, National Security Adviser of the friendly United States of America.


The meeting covered the developments in the region and the efforts made by two friendly countries to achieve peace and to enhance regional security and stability. It also touched on regional and international issues of mutual interest.

Sheikh Abdullah emphasised the deep-rooted strategic relations between the United Arab Emirates and the United States, and their commitment to foster peace and stability in the region and to support the aspirations of its peoples for development and prosperity moving forward.

He also said relations between the UAE and the United States have continued to grow in various domains.

“We look forward to deepening our bilateral relations in all fields, to the mutual benefits of our friendly peoples,” he added.

Attending the meeting was the UAE Ambassador to the US Yousef Al Otaiba.

His Highness and the US National Security Adviser also discussed the situation in the region and the efforts of the two friendly countries to achieve peace and enhance security and stability, as well as regional and international issues of common interest.

During the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the depth of the UAE-US strategic relations and their joint commitment to promoting peace and stability in the region and supporting the aspirations of its peoples for prosperity and development.

His Highness pointed out that the relations between the UAE and the United States are witnessing continuous growth and development at various levels, and we look forward to strengthening and developing them in all fields to achieve the common interests of the two friendly countries and bring good to their peoples.
