Thailand – The National Anti-Corruption Commission intends to arraign previous top state leader Yingluck Shinawatra and others in the Supreme Court for purportedly squandering a 240-million-baht financial plan on publicizing foundation projects in 2013.
Public examiners had before turned down the case refering to absence of proof.
NACC secretary-general Niwatchai Kasemmongkol said on Wednesday the commission had now settled it would itself take the issue to the Supreme Court’s Criminal Division for Holders of Political Positions.
He expected the claim would arrive at the court in about fourteen days. The legitimate activity will likewise incorporate Yingluck’s then secretary-general Suranand Vejjajiva and previous delegate head of the state Niwatthamrong Boonsongpaisan, and private gatherings associated with the roadshow project – Matichon Plc and Siam Sport Syndicate Plc and its chief Ravi Lohtong.
