Brunei reported two new cases of Covid-19

Brunei Darussalam has recorded 2 more Covid19 cases

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN – Brunei Darussalam has recorded two more cases of Covid-19 bringing the total tally of confirmed cases to 141.

The new cases are friends of Case 139 and they all lived together in a dormitory.

According to Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Case 140 is a male aged 46 while case 141 is a male aged 31. All new cases were detected during a monitoring of the country’s citizens and residents.

“Preliminary investigations have shown that all three cases (Cases 139,140 and 141) – were most likely infected with the coronavirus in March 2020 and have resided at the same place.” He added. So far, 141 individuals are tested positive of the virus with 131 recoveries and 1 death. Around 15,300 laboratory tests for COVID-19 have been conducted.
