The Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT1) is scheduled to resume service, including at its Roosevelt Station, on Monday, December 5, according to a new schedule.

Following the weekend suspension of the LRT1 on December 3 and 4, the Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) has verified that all arrangements have been made for the Monday reintegration of the Roosevelt Station.

Given the reopening of the station, the entire LRT1 route from Baclaran to Roosevelt, consisting of 20 stations, will once again be operational.

As a result of the reopening, the LRT1 will observe a new timetable commencing on Monday, with the following last trips:

  • 10 pm (weekday) – last train leaving Baclaran Station
  • 10:15 pm (weekday) – last train leaving Roosevelt Station
  • 9:30 pm (weekend, holidays) – last train leaving Baclaran Station
  • 9:45 pm (weekend, holidays) – last train leaving Roosevelt Station

No adjustments will be made to the first northbound and southbound trains that depart at 4:30 a.m. on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

“We are pleased to inform that our team has finished all the required work to ensure that LRT1 can be operated safely with the reintegration of Roosevelt Station,” stated Rolando Paulino III, chief operating officer of LRMC.

Since September 5, 2020, the LRT1 Roosevelt Station has been temporarily closed to allow for the building of the Light Rail Transit-Metro Rail Transit shared station. The station will connect the LRT1 and MRT3, as well as the under-construction MRT7 and future Metro Manila Subway.
