Passengers who want to travel by air are required to attach the health results of a rapid test or polymerase chain reaction (PCR) in the midst of the implementation of the new normal during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Seeing this, Lion Air Group now offers special rapid test services for prospective its airline passengers, including Lion Air, Wings Air, Batik Air.
The Corporate Communications Strategic of Lion Air Group, Danang Mandala Prihantoro, explained that initial health screening and the rapid test for coronavirus (Covid-19) was given specifically to Lion Air Group passengers.
The initial health screening and rapid test service include a certificate in accordance with the results with a validity period of 14 days.
“The cost of a COVID-19 Rapid Test is Rp. 95,000 (net), including a certificate in accordance with the results with a validity period of 14 days. The implementation of the COVID-19 Rapid Test in collaboration with the Lion Air Medika Clinic,” he said in an official statement, Monday, June 29.
Danang also said that the company runs the facility based on recommendations given by the Task Force for the Acceleration of Co-19 Handling and the Minister of Transportation’s Letter, Ministry of Transportation Republic of Indonesia Number AJ.001 / 1/12 PHB 2020 concerning Improvement of People’s Travel Services.
The presence of the COVID-19 rapid test service, according to Danang, was launched to coincide with Lion Air’s 20-year momentum. This is also a form of Lion Air Group’s commitment in an effort to accommodate the needs of each passenger while preparing air travel plans in the current conditions.
This rapid test service is valid starting Monday, June 29, 2020. For the initial stage, the rapid test is only available in Jakarta in four locations with the following schedule

The purchase of Covid-19 rapid test vouchers can be carried out and obtained directly when purchasing tickets.
