The revenue and market for the car sales in Malaysia in 2024 has reached 8.7% and the revenue might increase around $15 to 25 billion, based on the stats and reports given by Mark Lines, Statista and other trustable sources. To make it into a macroscale the Malaysian government has decided to launch the eco-friendly vehicle into their country manufactured by the native company ‘Proton’.
On Monday, at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Center (MITEC) the Leading Malaysian Car Company Proton launched their first ever e-vehicle/car ‘Proton e.MAS7’ at Kuala Lumpur. With this Proton has entered the EV category officially. The prime minister of Malaysia Datuk Seri Anwar Abrahim has inaugurated the event and stated that this initiative helps to build & produce the car between the native car manufacturer Proton and the Chinese auto manufacturer Zhejiang Geely Holding Group (49.9% stake held by Geely and the major stake by Proton) in Proton e.MAS7.
