
South Korean singer-songwriter Wheesung started R&B music in K-pop before his death occurred at his home in Seoul on March 10. He was 43. The police found evidence of normal circumstances after they arrived at the scene to find Wheesung in cardiac arrest.
Officials examine if drugs caused the death because Wheesung received a 2021 propofol violation conviction. Through a press release, Tajoy Entertainment told reporters they deeply mourned his death.
A4 stopped performing with him in the late 1990s but in 2002 Wheesung launched his solo career and released his debut album “Like a Movie.” In 2003 he delivered the album “It’s Real” which reached number one on the Korean charts and made him a dominant element of the music industry. Beyond singing his successful tracks With Me and Heartsore Story Wheesung composed songs for the well-known K-pop groups Twice and Super Junior.
After completing military service in 2011 Wheesung made his theater debut performing in Zorro and All Shook Up. He will no longer perform his scheduled show at Daegu on March 15th.South Korea’s entertainment industry suffered several recent deaths before Wheesung passed away including performances by Kim Sae-Ron, and actors from the film Parasite and Astro.
