An elderly woman was killed in a bus crash on Tiong Bahru Road

After a fatal accident that occurred along Tiong Bahru Road at a bus stop close to Redhill MRT Station that included a pedestrian who was 80 years old, a bus driver who was 49 years old was taken into custody on Monday (August 29).

CNA was told by both the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) and the police that they were made aware of the collision about 10 in the morning.

The SCDF reported that they had transported a person to the Singapore General Hospital.
