Xiaomi 15 Ultra is already headed for the international stage just a few days after its whole China launch! Although still a powerhouse, it has its fair share of differences between the Chinese and international versions.
What Is Different?
- Battery Size: The global Xiaomi 15 Ultra packs a 5,410 mAh battery, which is a little below the 6,000 mAh option available in the Chinese version. The battery is still equipped with 90W wired and 80W wireless HyperCharge capabilities.
- Color Options: The global variant will come in White, Black, and a special Silver Chrome version. Too bad Pine Green has been kept exclusive to the Chinese market.

Power Funktions and Rugged Aesthetic
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra gets its power from the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, with up to 16GB of RAM. The phone maintains an aluminum frame with a premium feel, while the 2.0 Shield Glass at the front is made with drops in mind. The back panel varies with colors, with Black featuring a treated look and White outfitted with an etched circular pattern.
Stunning Display and Intelli Camera System
The AMOLED 6.73-inch display has a resolution of 3200x1440px, a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 3,200 nits.
Photographers will find that the main camera features a 50MP LYT-900 sensor but has a fixed f/1.63 aperture, unlike the variable option on the Chinese version. The phone also includes:

Xiaomi 15 also joins the Global Launch.
The Ultra’s sibling model, the regular Xiaomi 15, is also going global, with a slightly smaller battery, 5,240 mAh here as compared to 5,400 mAh in China.
It is similar to the Ultra with a 6.36-inch LTPO AMOLED screen (1200 x 2670 pixels), offers a 120Hz refresh rate, and has the same Shield Glass 2.0 for protection. It’s joined by a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC with up to 16GB of RAM on the inside.

Pricing and availability
Both are priced similarly to their predecessors:
Xiaomi 15 (12GB RAM / 256GB storage) -1,000; Xiaomi 15 Ultra (16GB RAM / 512GB storage) – €1,500.
They will go on sale on March 4, and the Xiaomi 15 will be available in Black, White, and Mint.
