BTS’ V named Cartier’s new global ambassador

Cartier, a French luxury goods conglomerate that designs, manufactures, distributes, and sells jewellery, has announced its latest global ambassador who will represent Cartier’s most iconic lines, the ‘Panthère de Cartier’.

Kim Tae-hyung, also known professionally as BTS’ V, has been named the new global ambassador for the renowned French luxury jewelry brand Cartier. He is set to represent the ‘Panthère de Cartier’.

In the campaign for Cartier, Kim Tae-hyung, a South Korean singer and a member of the boy band BTS, showcased exquisite pieces from the Panthère jewelry collection, including a diamond ring, a tête-à-tête panther bracelet, and the Révélation d’une Panthère watch. BTS’ V also posted the pictures on Instagram.

Since BTS’ debut in 2013, his captivating stage presence has made him popular across the world. He is known for his unique voice and impeccable fashion sense. BTS’ V is also a global ambassador for the luxury French fashion brand CELINE. His boy band BTS serve as the faces of Louis Vuitton.

In his career, V also composed songs for 4 O’Clock, Scenery, Winter Bear and Blue & Grey. He also released three solo singles – “Stigma” in 2016, “Singularity” in 2018, and “Inner Child” during the pandemic. He also appeared in the television series Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth in 2016. He released his first independent song, “Scenery”, in 2019. In 2021, he enrolled at Hanyang Cyber University to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Advertising and Media.

Last month, V’s group BTS celebrated their ten years anniversary. BTS V, Jungkook, RM, Jimin, Suga, Jin, and Jhope made their debut on June 13, 2013. V also shared many unseen videos, including their dance practice videos, on June 13, 2023. 

RM aka Kim Namjoon said, “It’s a really special thing to be enchanted by certain words. Until a noun becomes a pronoun, when BTS becomes BTS, and when ARMY becomes ARMY.”
