Filmmakers don’t just build their audiences, they train them – and no filmmaker has trained their audience as perfectly as Christopher Nolan. Keeping some exceptions aside, all the films he has released in the past 18 years have cleared more than $500 million.

‘Interstellar’ 2014 represented a big moment for Nolan. This time-melting odyssey is about an incredible but equally dangerous journey into the heart of a wormhole near Saturn in an attempt to locate an exoplanet for human beings to colonise.
