Christopher Nolan’s ‘Interstellar’ returns to select theatres

Filmmakers don’t just build their audiences, they train them – and no filmmaker has trained their audience as perfectly as Christopher Nolan. Keeping some exceptions aside, all the films he has released in the past 18 years have cleared more than $500 million.

‘Interstellar’ 2014 represented a big moment for Nolan. This time-melting odyssey is about an incredible but equally dangerous journey into the heart of a wormhole near Saturn in an attempt to locate an exoplanet for human beings to colonise.

Interstellar re-releasing in select theatres: Check

Nolan’s passion project is returning from deep space to select IMAX theatres in the US and Canada. One of the best sci-fi films of all time is going to run for unlimited period – from December 6 to December 13.

It is in celebration of the official 10th anniversary of ‘Interstellar’. The ambitious $165 million film got nominations for 5 Oscars, grabbing the trophy in at least one category. It also features one of Hans Zimmer’s most haunting original scores.
