Coronavirus: 2 more Malaysians cured says Health minister

PUTRAJAYA – Malaysian Health Minister Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad confirmed that two more coronavirus two more (Covid-19) patients have been discharged from Hospital Sungai Buloh this morning.

The 64-year-old woman and 31-year-old man were among the 15 patients now cured of the infection.

Dzulkefly revealed that the woman was the mother-in-law of another patient while the man was an overseas worker in Macau.

“Both of them have fully recovered and after testing negative following treatment, they were allowed to go home this morning.” he said during a press briefing at the Ministry of Health complex on Thursday. The Health ministry also announced that there’s no new cases of Covid-19 in Malaysia reported over the past 24 hours.

Malaysia has now treated and cured 15 of its 22 confirmed corona virus cases. The other remaining patients are still being monitored and treated in the following hospitals: Hospital Kuala Lumpur, Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah (Alor Setar, Kedah), and one each in Hospital Sungai Buloh and Hospital Sultanah Maliha (Langkawi, Kedah).
