The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) has implemented its winter assistance effort for the individuals of Bangladesh for 2024-2025 by helping 5,000 individuals in different areas in cooperation with the UAE Embassy.
The plan aims to decrease the impact that the extreme conditions of winter give on vulnerable groups of people and communities. Through this initiative, food packs as well as some winter gear were distributed across Bangladesh to people and families struggling to cope with the extreme freezing that was already killing the entire region.
The ERC ensured that assistance reached as many families as possible by putting in place an effective distribution procedure in collaboration with the UAE Embassy. This program demonstrates the ERC’s commitment to its humanitarian purpose by providing vital supplies to those affected by extreme weather and assisting initiatives to enhance their living conditions over the winter.
