On December 13, 2024, the Supreme court sentenced seven and half years of imprisonment during the first trial and dismissed the appeal of his; instead the prosecutor has been ordered to activate the anti-escape mechanism against the Former Kinmen County Magistrate, Lee Wo-Shih.

What are the allegations?

Primarily, Mr. and Mrs. Lee was accused of receiving a bribe of NT$1 million dollar from the financial sponsor named Xu under agreement in 2011. In return, Lee had forced the gin company to lower the base price using his County Magistrate powers. He also planned to segregate the production and sales of the gin company by expanding the market share in mainland China so that his allies Xu and others could benefit from it.
