Four Pink Beaches in Philippines every traveler must visit

Have you heard of the Philippines’ pink beaches? There is no disputing that, while being recognized for its white-sand beaches, the Philippines also offers undiscovered beaches. There are more attractions in the Philippines than only Palawan, Siargao, Cebu, and Boracay, which are known to tourists from across the world.

There are a number of unspoiled, off-the-beaten-path pink beaches all around the nation that you may locate and add to your bucket list, just as in Barbados, the Bahamas, Greece, and Indonesia.

The tiny “foraminifera,” or pink algae, is the source of the pink color. These creatures are present because they are mixed with calcium carbonate, corals, and shells in the sand. Getting too technical? Well, as we have seen, science is capable of creating the four pink beaches that exist in our nation.

1. Great Santa Cruz Island in Zamboanga City

Visit Great Santa Cruz Island in Zamboanga City, in the southern part of the Philippines, if you’re seeking for a special island to cross off your bucket list. The island’s beautiful pink sand, which matches the color of the pink corals in the water, is what makes it renowned.

It is understandable why National Geographic selected this island’s beach as one of the greatest in the world.  The island’s wonderful pink sand, which sparkles in the sunlight, tranquil seas, and mangrove trees in the backdrop are what set it apart and make it famous.

2. Sila Island in San Vincente, Northern Samar

Do you wish you could visit a tropical island getaway without having to deal with crowds of people looking for sun? Why not visit Sila Island in Northern Samar, one of the most well-known off-the-beaten-path pink beaches in the east-central Philippines? Tourists are drawn to Sila Island by its stunning surroundings and pink sand.

Even while the pinkness of the sand isn’t as intense as you may have expected, it can still be seen up close, which is stunning. Additionally, the island is the epitome of cleanliness and beauty, and you may immerse yourself in the water there to explore all that this lovely island has to offer.

3. Subic Beach in Sorsogon

Who would have imagined that one beach could include two pink beaches? Unique to Sorsogon! Subic Liit (Subic Small Beach) and Subic Laki (Subic Big Beach) are the names given by the locals to this specific Subic Beach in Matnog, Sorsogon. The sand is thin and has a distinctive island characteristic of being pink and mixed with crushed red corals and creamy white sand.

4. Tikling Island in Sorsogon

Tikling Island, which is situated in the picturesque waters of Matnog Bay and is part of Sorsogon’s pink beach area, may be your final stop. You’ll catch a sight of the blue waters to the beaches of the fine sands mixed with strewn pink corals throughout the entire coast as the boat cruises towards the island from Calintaan Island.

Tikling Island’s stunning beach will astound you with its exquisite rose-hued shoreline. This island, which has a beach not far from Subic Beach but is unknown to most visitors, is thought of as Sorsogon’s best-kept secret. Discover this island and experience the pink sand there.
