Government committed to continue Vision 2030 plan

KUALA LUMPUR – Recently appointed Senior Minister of International Trade and Industry Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali reiterated that the new Perikatan Nasional (PN) government coalition is committed to continue the implementation of the Shared Prosperity Vision 2030 (SPV 2030).

Azmin, who was Economic Affairs Minister under Pakatan Harapan (PH) government stressed that SPV2030 was key in making the country sustainable and inclusive.

“This government will focus on economic growth, jobs and taking care of people’s welfare.” He added.

Azmin, 55, formerly the deputy president of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) before leading a group of 11 PKR MPs to join Bersatu headed by Muhyiddin. Besides Azmin, the other senior ministers appointed by Muhyiddin are Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, Works Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof and Education Minister Dr Mohd Radzi Md Jidin.
