Grab Malaysia Launches e-Bazar Ramadan

KUALA LUMPUR – Malaysians will be able to enjoy  their Ramadan favourites as the Selangor state government will set up a Ramadan e-bazaar this year in light of the Movement Control Order being enforced this year.

Selangor chief minister Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari confirmed yesterday followed by a tweet from Grab with a link on their page on how the setup will work.

Country Head for Grab Malaysia, Sean Goh said that the company wants to support entrepreneurs and social sellers switch to cashless transactions.

“With the use our ecosystem with services like GrabPay, GrabFood and GrabExpress, this will help them continue to thrive and deliver anything from bazaar favourites, cookies or Hari Raya outfits and other goods directly to Malaysian homes.”

“Ramadan is a celebration all Malaysians look forward to, and we love our local street food! It is important for us to unite during these challenging times,” He added.

Entreprenuers interested can reach out via grb.to/GrabRamadan. Malaysians, starting April 9 will be able to enjoy up to 30% discounts when they shop and pay online with GrabPay through Grab’s promotion: ‘Raya Deals Dari Rumah’.
