The fourth version of the popular dungeon crawler series, Diablo 4, will be released in June, but players will have the opportunity to test out a portion of the game in beta before it is made available in its entirety.
On Friday, both the open beta and the early access beta for Diablo 4 were made available. The game’s developer, Blizzard Entertainment, has stated that the beta will concentrate on the early parts of the narrative, including the prologue and Act 1, both of which take place in the zone known as Fractured Peaks. Gamers will be able to level their characters up to the maximum of 25, after which they will still have access to the beta for the remainder of the weekend.
Early access to the beta version of the game began on Friday at 9 a.m. PT (or 12 p.m. ET), and it will continue until Monday, March 20, at 12 p.m. PT. This weekend is reserved solely for those participants who have been given a beta code.
The open beta will begin the next Friday, March 24, at 9 a.m. Pacific Time (PT), and will run through the following Friday, March 27, at 12 p.m. PT (PT).
Preordering a copy of Diablo 4 will grant those who are interested a code for participation in the beta. In addition to this, when you buy a Double Down from KFC, you will receive a beta code.
The beta can be played on the same platforms as the final version of the game, which are the personal computer (PC), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and S.
The minimum requirements are:
Blizzard recommends the following specs:
The Rogue, the Barbarian, and the Sorcerer classes will be available in the early access beta. The druid and necromancer are the two additional classes that will become available once the open beta begins.
The progress of beta testers who participated in the early access weekend can be carried over to the open beta weekend, but none of the progress made throughout the betas will be carried over to the final game.
Over either of the upcoming weekends, players will have the opportunity to test their mettle against the World Boss, Ashava, in addition to the Prologue and Act 1 content. On March 18, at 10 a.m., 12 p.m., 10 p.m., and 12 a.m. Pacific Time (PT), the boss will make their debut in the early access beta. March 19 will begin at 12 a.m. PT. When the open beta begins on March 25, Ashava will show up at the same times as before.
The iconic dungeon-crawling action role-playing game Diablo returns with its newest installment, Diablo 4. Gamers will engage in combat against a horde of monsters that are under the command of Lilith. Lilith is the daughter of Mephisto, one of the Great Evils, and is referred to as the “mother” of Sanctuary, the planet in which the Diablo series takes place.
