The land of Korean dramas is full of heart-fluttering romance and protagonists seeming impossibly perfect. There is a reality dating series that has become a cultural sensation in the country as it likes to keep things absolutely real.
‘I am Solo’ feels more like a mirror to the messy and practical realities of modern romance. First aired in 2021, it has featured nearly 300 contestants and its popularity doesn’t seem to be dropping. Each series, 7 male and 7 female contestants meet, date and decide.
