The band is back with big news that they will go on a world tour in 2025. Despite parting ways with YG Entertainment, the trio is reforming for its much anticipated homecoming. Following their tremendously successful Born Pink tour in 22 countries from 2022 to 2023, the band is gearing up for another round of global performances. On February 6th at midnight KST, the renowned 4 person group released a teaser revealing their 2025 global tour.
The 21-second video which was uploaded on Blackpink’s social media and YouTube pages begins with a dark screen and then features an overhead image of a vast stadium packed with thousands of ecstatic supporters waving pink lightsticks in unison. The camera zooms in revealing Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo and Rosé executing a stunning performance on stage setting up the thrilling tour reveal.
Fans have been posting about their comeback on social media. “This is the year of Blackpink,” wrote one ecstatic fan. “It’s kind of crazy that they are announcing a tour without a comeback.”
Others were concerned that the tour was too rushed and that the girls needed to complete their various solo projects and release a whole album first. “It’s too early,” one person wrote. Basically, many people expressed the same complaint, “We have yet to receive anything fresh. “Please let them release more music as a group; I’m not hearing the same songs,” another commented.
we dont want another tour rn we want them to finish their round of solo projects and drop a full album with 20 songs and 4 features https://t.co/PT5HeCKyK6 pic.twitter.com/QZuDiGnjKV
