Ivana Alawi, an actress and YouTuber, ranked sixth on “The 100 Most Beautiful Faces of 2022,” a list issued by TC Candler and the Independent Critics on December 28.
Jasmine Tookes, an American model and former Victoria’s Secret Angel who ranked ninth in the 2021 rankings, topped the 2022 list. She was followed by Nancy of MOMOLAND and Lisa of BLACKPINK, who placed second and third, respectively.
This was the third year in a row that Ivana appeared on the list. She ranked fourth in the standings for 2021.
In her eighth appearance on the yearly list, actress Liza Soberano placed 23rd in 2022, while actresses Janine Gutierrez and Bella Poarch rated 51st and 80th, respectively.
Hollywood actresses Lily Collins, Margot Robbie, Emma Watson, Emilia Clarke, and Gal Gadot are all in the top 100, as are K-pop sensations Jennie of BLACKPINK and Sana of TWICE.
Nonetheless, no male Filipinos reached the list of “100 Handsome Faces of 2022.” Henry Cavill, a British actor, placed #1.
According to their website, the Independent Critics and TC Candler have released the yearly list since 1990, with ranks for over 40 nations.
“Only one of the requirements is aesthetic excellence. A beautiful face embodies grace, elegance, uniqueness, audacity, passion, poise, joy, promise, and hope,” they wrote.
