At 30, Lucy Guo became the world's youngest self-made female billionaire, surpassing Taylor Swift, due to her 5% stake in the AI firm Scale AI, now valued at USD 25 billion.

Lucy’s fortune of almost $1.25 billion is due to her early foray into artificial intelligence. In 2016, she co-founded the high-tech company, Scale AI, with Alexandr Wang, who today bears the title CEO.
However, though Lucy left in 2018, she kept a 5% stake in the company and that has paid off very well. With the whole world going crazy for AI technology, the value of Scale AI has gone through the roof, and so has Lucy’s bank balance.
Leaving College to Become a Billionaire:
“Inspiring” is the just one way to look at her case. One dropped college and took the plunge into the mighty tech ocean, producing what has now become billions worth; proof that great things could be made by merely thinking straight, having guts, and a risk or two.
A New Face of Tech Success:
Even as AI continues to mold the future, Lucy is among the new-age entrepreneurs at the forefront of that march. Her success illustrates that innovation and determination are far more crucial than celebrity in terms of making a worldwide impact.
