Matty Healy, an English singer-songwriter, musician, and record producer, made errors during his performance after reportedly saying “sorry” to his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift, a popular American singer-songwriter, following their breakup.
While performing on stage in Dublin, the capital of the Republic of Ireland, Matty Healy said, “Sorry,” in bold and large letters on a banner. Healy’s bandmate Jamie Squire was singing a cover of Leon Russell’s A Song For You on stage. Subsequently, Matty Healy wrote Sorry with black paint on a white background. During the performance, Matty also made a few mistakes while playing a solo acoustic set.
Addressing the crowd, Matty said, “It is not even normal, it is just because it is so nice. But you drink so much of it like it is some kind of milk, that then you forget the songs so I came in at the wrong time then.”
Reportedly, fans said that George Daniel, the drummer of the band, and Adam Hann, the lead guitarist, were looking concerned during the performance.
Earlier, media reports claimed that Matty wanted to settle down with Taylor. It was also reported that Matty wanted to have kids with her.
Reportedly, Matty and Taylor dated for just a month. Taylor started dating Matty after she broke up with her long-term boyfriend, Joe Alwyn. Earlier this month, news of their breakup surfaced on the internet, and their short-lived romance came to an end.
A source reportedly told People, “She (Taylor) had fun with him, but it was always casual. They are no longer romantically involved.” Another source told US Weekly, “Taylor wasn’t ready for another serious relationship just yet.”
