Muhyiddin vows cabinet with integrity

KUALA LUMPUR – Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin vows to appoint members of cabinet who have integrity and clean track record.

Muhyiddin, who was sworn in as the 8th Prime Minister on Sunday, said he is well aware that people wants a clean government. A government that has integrity.

In his maiden address to the nation, titled “An Appeal to Malaysians”, he said that he will form a government that will prioritise efforts to enhance integrity and good governance including efforts to eradicate corruption and abuse of power.

Shared Prosperity Vision 2030 (SPV2030) was also mentioned as the prime minister wants to improve the healthcare and education to propel the country’s economic growth and narrow the economic gap in society. “Join me to rebuild our country and restore its glory,” he added.
