The South Korean actors Seo In-guk and Park So-dam will co-star in the next fantasy drama Death’s Game!
According to a report by Soompi, the series would be about a guy named Choi Yi-jae (played by In-guk) who is given a second shot at life after confronting death by traveling 12 times between the two realms. So-dam will portray Death, a non-human “mystery figure” who forces this deal onto Yi-jae just before he descends into Hell.
Reportedly, Choi Si-won, Lee Jae-wook, Jang Seung-jo, and Sung Hoon are in discussions to make special cameos in the drama, depicting the “various lives of Yi-jae.”
Death’s Game, which will be directed and written by Ha Byung-hoon (18 Again, Go Back Couple), will debut in late 2023.
So-performance dam’s in the Oscar-winning picture Parasite earned her the Palme d’Or at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival. In addition to Cinderella with Four Knights, she has appeared in Record of Youth, A Beautiful Mind, and Special Delivery.
In-guk is also a musician; he began his singing career in 2009 after winning the reality television competition Superstar K. Reply 1997, Master’s Sun, Doom At Your Service, Hello Monster, and Cafe Minamdang are among his acting credits.
