PNM launches ‘Please Sit At Home and Read’ campaign

PETALING JAYA – Malaysians will have access to 13.2 million digital reading materials or also know as “E-books” as the National Library will be offering it for free for the next two weeks as the nation goes on a lockdown amidst the current Covid-19.

The 13.2 million free E-books materials will be available for access during the Covid-19 shutdown period as part of the “Please Sit At Home and Read’ campaign” to comply with the Movement Control Order that was implemented yesterday.

The announcement was made yesterday via the PNM’s official Instagram page including a tutorial on how to access the materials.

Newspaper both current and past editions will also be available for online viewing.

The free digital reading materials can be accessed at www.u-library.gov.my under ‘Online Database’ tab.

The campaign were so well received that the website crashed and was not available for a period of time but the site is now up and running.
