On Tuesday, the Secretary General of the Presidential office of Taiwan Pan Meng’an sent an internal letter which states the deletion and freezing of the secret expenses of the Presidential Office. This is due to the rise of many questions and speculations have been raised against it for the past few months. Previously, the 2011 central government general budget bill was passed in the Legislative Yuan by the Blue and White parties together to delete and freeze 10 million Yuan.
The government has been asked to explain the money which is spent on the budget of secret expenses to the Legislative Yuan within three months. Meanwhile, Pan Mengan has released the apology letter to the employees for the new announcement that the three-day gift money will not be given anymore.
