Japan’s 2nd Street Opens First Singapore Outlet with 22,000 Fashion Finds

Japanese fashion retailer 2nd Street will open its first Singapore store on April 29th 2025 at 313@Somerset. The retail outlet will house more than 22,000 carefully selected secondhand fashion products sourced from Japan ranging from vintage to streetwear and luxury fashion.

Consumers can look forward to finding unique items from brands such as Carhartt, Kenzo, Ganni and Levi’s, alongside high-end products from Louis Vuitton, Comme des Garcons, Hermes and Chanel. ​

Aside from shopping, customers can also sell their second-hand items via 2nd Street’s buy and sell platform encouraging sustainability and providing a means for locals to recycle fashion.

Taking up a 6,198 sq ft location in Basement 1 (B1-23 to 34), the shop takes over from the previous Pomelo store. It will open every day from 11 am to 10 pm.

2nd Street, which began operations in 1996 has grown overseas with more than 1,000 outlets, of which 881 are located in Japan. The brand provides a vast variety of second hand fashion items ranging from clothing to bags, footwear and accessories.

Tsutomu Nakamura 2nd Street Singapore Managing Director highlights the importance of making fashion affordable for everyone stating that “We think fashion is for everybody. That’s why we carry such a diverse selection of things which are completely affordable brands to high-end pieces to make an experience where everybody can find something that speaks to them.”

With its carefully edited range and dedication to quality, 2nd Street’s launch in Singapore provides a new and sustainable retail experience for fashion lovers.
