The mayor of New York believes there is “no place” for migrants in his city

On Sunday, January 15, the mayor of New York flew to the Mexican border city of El Paso and proclaimed, “There is no place in New York” for busloads of migrants being delivered to the most populous city in the United States.

Eric Adams, a Democrat, was likewise critical of the administration of Democratic US President Joe Biden, stating that “now is the moment for the federal government to do its duty” about the immigrant problem at the southern border of the United States.
