Top 10 beaches to visit in the Philippines

In the Philippines, a nation of more than 7,000 islands, there are numerous lovely beaches. These breathtaking beaches may be found around the nation. Others are well-known for their vibrant nightlife, while some locations are well-known for their excellent beaches and pure water.

Among our favorite beaches, there are probably a few that you have never visited. This list of the top beaches in the Philippines may inspire some fresh travel plans if you have a taste for adventure, especially if you have already visited the well-known beaches like El Nido and Boracay. The distance between each beach may be far, but the journey is definitely worth it.

1. White Beach

About 315 kilometers south of Manila, on the island of Borocay, is where you’ll find White Beach. This beach, which is located off the northwest coast of the Panay Island, is a prime example of the Philippines’ and Borocay’s visually stunning natural surroundings. There are tropical surroundings, an expansive ocean vista, and many kinds of fauna and vegetation.

2. White Island

As an empty sandbar, White Island lacks any trees or man-made structures that would provide shade from the sun. Bring adequate water and sunblock if you plan to go. Snorkeling is enjoyable, but watch out for sea urchins and sea snakes.

3. Matuka Island

Off the shore of Caramoan is a little island called Matukad. Its beaches are made of beautiful, white sand and are bordered by craggy limestone cliffs. The lagoon, which is home to a lone enormous milkfish, is its most remarkable feature. You can ask the boatman for more information about this because it has an interesting story. Bring your camera, do a little walking to get to the lagoon, and you might be able to see the milkfish while you’re there. The view is magnificent from above.

4. Daku

Siargao’s Daku, Naked, and Guyam group of islets are reachable by taking an island-hopping trip. The traditional day excursion to these locations begins at Naked Island, so named because it is devoid of any flora or coconut trees. It can get quite hot out there, so be sure to carry sunscreen. Before moving on to the next destination, people enjoy sunbathing on the islet’s pristine sand.

5. Kalanggaman Island

One of the most stunning islands in the Philippines is Kalanggaman Island in the province of Leyte. Its long sandbar that extends from one end of the island is its main attraction. When the tide recedes and reveals it, it is pretty spectacular. If you’re not a strong swimmer, warning signs warn you to exercise caution because the sandbank shifts with the tides.

6. Calagus

A 2-hour boat voyage from the mainland separates the province of Camarines Norte’s Calaguas group of islands. This tropical location is difficult to reach, which is one of the reasons it has remained largely unspoiled throughout the years. Tinaga Island is home to its most well-known beach, Mahabang Buhangin (Long Beach), where you may go swimming and camping.

7. Nacpan and Calitang Beach

Nacpan Beach, which stretches over four kilometers, is regarded as one of the world’s most beautiful beaches for a reason. It’s a welcome change from El Nido’s busier beaches or interminable island-hopping excursions. You can find soft sand and crystal-clear blue waves here; occasionally, the beach is all to yourself. Nacpan Beach doesn’t have any upscale eateries, although there are some little shacks where you can get some regional fare.

8. Alona Beach

On Panglao Island in Bohol, Alona Beach is 1.5 kilometers long. It is renowned for its fine-grained sand beach, crystal-clear waters, and top-notch diving. The shoreline is lined with bars, restaurants, and spots for outdoor massages; this is where the activity is.

9. Buhatan Beach

A Spanish Galleon wreck site may be seen at Buhatan Beach in Albay; it is 9 meters under the water. There are several tour companies that offer snorkeling and diving tours, however if you want to visit this wreck site, it’s preferable if you have diving experience. Swimming, water sports, and sunbathing are all popular on the beach itself.

10. Biri Island

Beautiful rock formations may be found on Biri Island in Northern Samar, which have been formed over time by ferocious seas and strong winds. Depending on the tide, you can visit one of the island’s roughly seven rock formations. Low tide makes it simple to access the majority. However, you’ll be walking on slick, sharp stones, so it’s essential to wear strong footwear. On Biri Island, in addition to the unusual rock formations and clear waters, there are also natural saltwater pools where you may cool yourself.
