Naver, the most popular search engine in South Korea, has revealed the list of the 10 most searched K-pop idols in 2023. The list is based on the number of searches made by Naver users from January 1 to December 1, 2023. Here are the 10 K-pop idols who dominated the online searches this year:
10. Jisoo (BLACKPINK)
Jisoo, the lead vocalist and visual of BLACKPINK, ranked 10th on the list with 12.3 million searches. Jisoo made her acting debut in the drama Snowdrop, which aired from March to May 2023. She also became the global ambassador of Dior, appearing in various campaigns and events for the luxury brand.
9. Jimin (BTS)
Jimin, the main dancer and lead vocalist of BTS, ranked 9th on the list with 13.7 million searches. Jimin captivated the fans with his smooth vocals and charismatic performances in BTS’s songs, such as Butter, Permission to Dance, and My Universe. He also participated in several solo projects, such as collaborating with Lauv on the song Stay With Me and featuring on the soundtrack of the movie Soulmates.
