United Overseas Bank’s (UOB) joint venture, The FinLab will be launching an online platform to help Asean businesses to digitalize.
FinLab, an accelerator program that attracts over 2,000 businesses in Singapore, Malaysian and Thailand aims to give more entrepreneurs access to it’s business transformation programs. The membership will be free of charge and open to all SME’s and small businesses across the Asean region.
Through this platform, Businesses will be able to conduct free self-assessments of their technology needs base on FinLab’s analytic tools, access to video tutorials and webinars and to guidance on digitalisation strategies
According to The FinLab co-head Pauline Sim, The FinLab Online utilizes UOB’s extensive network and experience operating in the Southeast Asia region to provide the community with necessary knowledge and connections.
Through digital means, this initiative will add value to businesses in Asia. The platform will help businesses connect with digital and technology solution providers as well as access to resources provided by the partners. Since it launched, FinLab received more than 440 SMEs and start-ups registration across the region through The FinLab Online.
