The ASEAN Chair is expected to emphasize the unity and cooperation in the region to effective respond to the current crisis. ASEAN leaders will also tackle cooperation on public health and draft measures for the rehabilitation of the region post Covid-19.

Human and food security, women’s rights, economic growth are topics also expected to be discussed in the summit. The ASEAN fund for Covid-19 response will also be the key topic for this year’s meeting as the policy has so far garnered approval from all members.
