According to the status page maintained by the firm and the reports of users who have attempted to load the platform, the social media network Reddit is now undergoing an outage that is impacting both its website and its mobile application. At the very least, Reddit has been inaccessible since 12:18 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time.
The firm has found a problem with its internal systems and has devised a solution, but the corporation has warned that putting the solution into effect “may take some time.” The solution was found at around 2:43 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time.

TechCrunch attempted to get further information from a spokesman for Reddit regarding what caused the outage and how long it will take to resolve it, but the spokesperson refused.
On Downdetector, there have been over 60,000 reports of problems with the platform, and a number of writers for TechCrunch have confirmed that they are having trouble loading Reddit.
The web page fails to load any material, and a pop-up message states that “Sorry, we were unable to load posts for this page.” While using the iOS app, material that was downloaded more than an hour ago will continue to fill, but comments will not appear.
