
Xiaomi one of the pioneering technology innovators has made a significant leap into the electric vehicle EV market with the launch of the SU7. In a span of just nine months, the electric sedan accumulated nearly 250,000 orders which is one of the most demanded EVs in China. Xiaomi is now raising the bar with the introduction of the SU7 Ultra, a flagship performance model. With a price tag of 529,900 yuan ($72,990), the SU7 Ultra is incredibly powerful generating 1,526 horsepower and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in only 1.98 seconds.
This model, which had received more than 6,900 pre-orders within 10 minutes, will shake up the high-performance EV industry. With CATL Qilin 2.0 battery that boasts 385 miles (620 km) of range and a 201 mph top speed, the SU7 Ultra is not to be underestimated. The deliveries start in April 2025 with Xiaomi targeting 300,000 deliveries for 2025.
