The South Korean music firm YG Entertainment announced on March 7 that a global audition will be held in Manila on April 16 at the ZERO Studio in Quezon City.
The auditions are available to potential idols between the ages of 2004 and 2012. They must choose only one category from voice, rap, dance, and appearance.
Applicants auditioning for the vocal and rap categories must perform one song in one minute without accompaniment, whilst dance aspirants may perform one song with accompaniment. Applicants for dance must provide their own music through cell phone.

The pre-application period will span March 7 through April 9. Candidates must submit their applications using https://linktr.ee/ygaudition. Applicants who submit their applications during the pre-application period will get an email on April 12 including information about their particular audition slot on April 16.
On the day of the audition, on-site applications will also be available, however auditionees must register in person at the venue by 2 p.m.
YG Entertainment, one of South Korea’s largest entertainment firms, is home to international stars such as Sechs Kies, BIGBANG, Akdong Musician, WINNER, BLACKPINK, and TREASURE. Among their previous artists are Epik High, 2NE1, and iKON.
