YG Entertainment, a South Korean multinational entertainment agency, has said that the set list for BLACKPINK’s Vietnam concert posted on the internet was false.
On Wednesday, a representative from YG Entertainment said, “The set list of BLACKPINK’s Vietnamese concert circulating online is not true. We will proceed as usual with the normal tour procedures.”
Earlier, a media outlet reported that BLACKPINK’s set list for their ‘Born Pink’ concert tour in Vietnam, a Southeast Asian country, was leaked. Subsequently, netizens expressed their disappointment online because the set list only contained 14 tracks and the seat reservation ticket prices were $414. They said that the ticket price was unreasonable for just 14 songs. However, YG Entertainment dismissed such claims.
Reportedly, BLACKPINK, a famous South Korean girl group formed by YG Entertainment, will perform in Vietnam on July 29 and 30.
On June 26, YG Entertainment officially confirmed that BLACKPINK will do a show in Vietnam on July 29 and July 30. BLACKPINK, consisting of Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa, will be the first K-pop group to hold a stadium tour in Vietnam. Blackpink will also be the first K-pop girl group to hold a solo concert at the stadium.
They will reportedly perform at the My Dinh National Stadium, a multi-use stadium in Hanoi, the Capital of Vietnam. The stadium can hold more than 40,000 people. It is also the centerpiece of the country’s National Sports Complex. The My Dinh National Stadium is the second biggest stadium in the country in terms of capacity.
BLACKPINK started its BORN PINK tour last year in October. The K-pop group completed 12 shows in nine Asian countries with the release of their album BORN PINK. The group did shows in Bangkok, Hong Kong, Riyadh, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Kaohsiung, Manila, and Singapore. Vietnam’s tour will bring BLACKPINK’s tour to 26 concerts in 13 Asian locations.
